This policy explains what data VectorMe (operated by Oliver Taglieber, trading as VectorMe) collects and why. The short version: your game state lives on your own machine, purchases go through Paddle, and we keep only what the online features need.

1. What we collect

• Purchase and licence data — when you buy, our payment provider Paddle collects your email, country, and payment details (we never see your card). We store your email, your licence key, subscription status, and the device identifiers you activate on, so we can deliver, validate, and re-send your key.
• Community data — if you use online features, we store your chosen display name and the gameplay records those features need (posted jobs, hiring listings, crew relationships, shared route demand, and — while you are mid-flight — your simulated aircraft position, which is visible to other players on their map).
• Local data — your company, fleet, finances, logbook, and settings are stored on your own device only. They are never uploaded; the built-in backup feature saves them to a file you control.

2. What we don't do

We do not sell or rent personal data, run third-party advertising or tracking on the app or this website, or collect real-world location data. The aircraft positions shared in community features are simulated positions from your flight simulator.

3. Processors we rely on

• Paddle — merchant of record: checkout, billing, invoicing, tax.
• Cloudflare — hosts this website and the online-features server, including the data in section 1.
• Resend — sends transactional email (licence keys, account links).

4. Retention

Licence and purchase records are kept while your subscription exists and afterwards as needed for lawful business records. Transient community records (job posts, live positions) expire automatically — most within days, live positions within minutes.

5. Your rights

You can request a copy or deletion of the data we hold about you by emailing support@vectorme.net from your checkout email address. Deleting licence data ends your access to the Service. Invoicing data held by Paddle is subject to Paddle's own retention obligations.

6. Cookies

This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The Paddle checkout uses its own strictly-necessary cookies to process payment. The app stores its data in local browser storage on your device.
